Went to the bar with a good friend of mine tonight and convinced him to see what we could come up with in the way of a CAI for her truck and his 06 cummins
His dad has metal brakes, rollers ect so we're gonna try to make a torque tube and a airbox/heat shield so I'm pretty excited

Well the torque tube didn't get done, maybe this week who knows now
One of the 9 led strips I ordered came today, hopefully the other ones show up so I can put the bed lights in her and my dads trucks while I'm home this week

We'll see how long these take to actually finish
Also got metal .06" steel for the torque tube hopefully I can get it rolled tomorrow and I'll have a whole pile of things to weld

Well I bought an airraid quick fit and synths flow filter for her truck last week for $50
The guy thought it was a synthamax dry filter and the fact that it has zero oil on it we really thought it was. I would have liked to have the dry filter being where we live but no big deal, I'll be ordering a pre filter soon

That was the picture he had I'm the ad and it was really that dirty when I opened the box
I washed it up and found that the paint is flaking and rusting at the bottom so I have a new plan for it

I stopped at advanced and got a recharge kit for the filter and it's on my counter dryi waiting to be oiled

The torque tube made a pretty significant difference in the sound
I'm really happy with the way the both turned out
I'm pretty sure I have a smallblack cummins decal that I'm gonna stick on the airbox
I have a rear emblem from a 10 too but I think it would be to much and I don't wanna completly copy Schroeder lol

Come fall/winter she's hoping to get new wheels and get rid of the spacers
Do you guys happen to have any ideas for a wheel that looks like one of these with a 5" BS so it'll full out the flares still (black spoked, polished lip, 17" wheel)

These seem to be about the best option so far but I'm not crazy about them

Maybe I'll have to get a chop
I keep showing her your truck asking her how she likes different things lol
I'd like to color match the grill with black heirs but she won't go for it, been looking for one on CL just to try an see how it looks without her knowing lol
