To the other guys that have already flashed their truck and installed mirrors...is the change when you flip up the mirrors not compensated for with the adjustment?

The mirrors I got are, as far as I can tell, OEM, but once flipped up, my adjustments are sideways, if you get what I mean.

Oem mirrors are supposed to change when you flip them up. I've only heard of aftermarket ones doing what you stated

So I've had mine installed for a few days I called the dealership and asked him to add the codes to my vin. Which he Apparently did and he said "if it doesn't work in an hour or two you're going to have to bring it in for us to manually flash it for $190". How in the hell would it work by him just adding them to my vin over the computer..
Anyways does anyone know if you can use a snap on module to add the codes to the truck?

Heck no. I'm trying to figure out of its something needing flashed or what because the mirrors I have were supposed to be OEM.

To my knowledge they should adjust after being flashed. I tried adjusting mine and it's a pain. You have to think about what you're doing haha

i finally remembered to try adjusting the mirror when they are flipped up....the adjustments dont change like i think they are supposed to. i am wondering if it is the "tow mirror" code that my truck does not have flashed which makes the adjustment to the control pad. i'll have to see if they can flash that when i bring the truck in next.

If you guys figure it out about the adjustments, let me know.

You may just have to try getting it flashed again or check to make sure the connector is seated all of the way.

LEB code - Light, Exterior, Blinker

LEC code - Light, Exterior, Courtesy (aka puddle lamp).

I had my truck flashed twice no luck. It's not too hard to figure out how to adjust the mirrors while up. Just gotta think about it for a second

I literally just bought a set of after market ones. I would have loved factory ones. Are they power fold and heated?

I agree, I've messed with them and they're not a total headache, but if there's a way I can figure out how to get it to angle adjust, that would make it 10 times easier.

If anyone has questions about the mirrors that we carry you can PM me too, and I'll help you out.

If your searching out website for the newer Ram trucks, search under Ram, not Dodge, Ram

Tony

Here's a video of the install that Mike did using our tow mirrors.
