I had nerf steps on my '06, my '11 came with them too although they are bent, broken and rusting(crappy quality cheapos). I'm looking to replace mine with diamond tread running boards. I don't know why but I kind of want that mid-90's wheel to wheel running board look to come back
Actually I want them mostly to keep the rocks off the truck. Shortly after I bought it I spent $1400 repairing paint and $400 on fender flares and mud flaps. I'm still getting rocks that hit the bottom of the cab right about the start of the rear door. Cab corners are going to take a beating from hitting the nerf bars and deflecting up if I don't do something soon.
I've got a fun-sized wife too at 5'0"
