After looking unsuccessfully for guidance on this, I decided to tackle this on my 2012.
I'm referring to the "puck" style antenna mounted on the roof.
First of all, you can do this by simply removing one from piece of trim and simply pulling the headliner down. Will that crease your headliner? Maybe. I don't have small hands and noticed a small crease after I was done. Smaller hands might avoid this but it's not noticeable and I'd rather have the functionality. Took less than 30 minutes.

Before install, navigation stopped working completely as it was not picking up any satellites. XM would constantly show "acquiring signal" and only play short snips if anything at all.
Post install, navigation and XM are working as they should.
