I owned a 2016 Prospector; the regular one, not the XL. I thought it was an awesome truck. It had the great torque of the Cummins engine, and would tow a house if you wanted to. It was fun to drive, and perhaps the best looking truck I've ever owned. The only minor complaint was that it had so much torque that in low range you couldn't get it to stop without either shifting into neutral, or absolutely standing on the brakes. The Mega Cab truck was too big for much offroad use as well.
Life changes though, and in 2017 I decided to buy a new house. My dream home, on my dream lot, came up for sale, and I needed to buy it before selling my old home, or the new home would be sold before I could buy it. I had to sell my Prospector to come up with the $100K down payment on the new home. It took a full year to sell my previous house, but when it sold I put the money mostly on my new house, and had enough left over for another truck. This time I chose a Power Wagon. The Power Wagon is better off road, no doubt about it. The Power Wagon suspension is much more compliant and smoother riding. And my Power Wagon has lockers, whereas my Prospector did not. The Prospector was better on road, and for towing, and a whole lot more bad ass looking. The Power Wagon cost 1/3 less as well.
