Just got the call from my local dealership. My truck is ready to be picked up they replaced the drivers seat frame (due to it rocking while accelerating/stopping), The back-up camera (due to distorted or non-existent image), fixed my rear LED under seat light housing (light popped out of the housing). The only thing that wasn't covered or replaced yet is my 8.4 touch screen (has about 7 wear marks on it already that won't come off). I say yet because the service advisor told me he will provide me with an FCA number to attempt to further push for a replacement. I will post pictures of it when I pick the truck up tonight to get your opinions on if it is worth trying to further up the FCA corporate ladder. Overall, I am very satisfied with this new dealership (Davis DCJR in Yulee, FL). This was my 1st visit because I recently moved and it is already hands down better than the dealership I purchased it from in Virginia!

My birthday was last week, so the lady and I grabbed the puppy dog to head off for some camping. Went out to Hickory Run State Park in eastern PA.

Had a great time and the campsite was absolutely packed. Probably the most normal things have felt since March.

Got pretty hot, and the Big Fella is due for a haircut so he chose to recuse himself to the shade of my truck.

My little girl found a nice, cool creek to help battle the heat. 4DvMkoK8AYBQLSoP19hUvy.jpg

Booked in my Ram to get a "Walker Soundfx performance bottle" installed. Whats that you say? The solution to my damn drone with my Magnaflow 22" muffler. I have a long road trip ahead this summer & I'm not going through listening to the drone much longer, never mind then. So basically its a resonator added in in front of the muffler.

If indeed a Solo Mach 44 had been in my vocabulary when I put in the MF last yr it would have been cheaper for me to go that route in the 1st place but I'm not throwing away the MF until its toast.

As I was heading home from the big city & hit the highway I dropped into 5th so I was out of the "drone zone" & thought...yeah I am so getting the bottle installed!

Mine took me to the dealer to be traded in. It was a good truck but I wanted something different.

Now no threatening to burn me at the stake, I crossed over the line and went GMC:hidesbehindsofa: I wanted a specific truck and this fit the bill. We, wife approved, purchased a 2020 SLT with the Tuscany Harley Davidson conversion package.
I have pics of anyone wants to see them.

Now, since the Rebel is gone I have a few items that will be going in the For Sale section of this forum in a couple of days. Plus I will be stalking this site as I enjoy what you guys discuss and are doing to your trucks.

Going to be strange not having a Ram in the driveway, been 20 years

Are there any good, chrome style wheel options for us on the 1500 that don't break the bank? I had the Mickey Thompson Classic III on my old rig and loved them, thought they could look cool on the new rig. They only go up to 17"s, so I figured I'd see what you guys know.

Thanks in advance!

Not sure what type of wheel you're looking, but I just swapped my OEM clad-crap wheels out for these. They're solid aluminum OEM knock-offs. I went with polished instead of chrome due to the beach salt. https://www.oewheelsllc.com/

Got some detailing products in, installed the DeeZee tailgate assist, and ordered some LED's.

Although not solid chrome, I like the look and style of my 2014 1500 ED OEM chrome clad wheels. It may be an option...…. RAM 9.5.18.jpg

I'm not a huge fan of the chrome clad, but living in the NE I shouldn't be so picky given road salt will destroy actual chrome. Polished Aluminum may be the end all be all, which I didn't even realize that's what my old MT IIIs were!

I found these guys that look pretty cool: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/...MIn83E5tHW6QIVk8DACh203wn0EAQYASABEgJ1V_D_BwE

What did they give you for your Ram (and how many miles on it), if you don't mind me asking?

Polished aluminum is durable in the sense that they can polish and be repaired.

But boy are they high maintenance if you want them looking clean (aka like new) all the time. They get that hazy look unless you throw consistent elbow grease at ‘em. I wouldn’t even attempt it on a truck that’s driven a lot as I wouldn’t have the patience to maintain them lol.

Yeah I used the Mother's Power Cone when I had the MT Classic IIIs on my old truck and it took a lot of the work out of it, but still a pain none the less!
