What cluster do you have? 3.5" basic or 7" premium?

Not sure about the 3.5" but on the 7" while using the "manual" selection (+ -) it should show what gear you are in next to the gear selected. If not I know there is a gear displayed option in alphaobd (don't recall off hand if it's in the body Computer or the instrument cluster selection) that should enable it

I got a question about alfaobd.
I recently got it set up and ran through some stuff on my 2018 ram 1500, and I was just wondering where was the button to enable the DRL option feature to pop up on the radio to turn on or off if I wanted?
I already have DRL on truck but just wondered if there was an option to put it on radio settings to turn on and off.

Easy fix. Enable the quad headlights option too. Also disable fog light drop out.

In his case, he has factory projector headlamps, so it is the bi xenon headlamps setting that gets set back to yes, not the quad headlamps setting.

It has all permissions and I enabled debugging. I think this issue is specific to the pixel 3 for some reason

Weird. Maybe that's why I couldn't see boost readouts for the Jeep. Well, I guess we can add one more thing to the list of reasons I'll never buy a Google phone again.

Both are lamp diagnosis feeds

For whatever reason the door adjar is tied in with the lighting diagnostics

When you choose a lamp location for DRLs, it is referring to which wiring circuit is going to receive power when the headlights are off, and the truck is in gear. When you choose fog lamps, the fog lamp circuits get power for DRLs, same with choosing high beams, or turn signals. On the BCM, there are also right and left “dedicated” circuits specifically for DRLs. On trucks with factory equipped projector headlamps, the dedicated DRL wires are used to feed the the turn signal LED boards, along with the turn signal wires, and parking lamp wires. “Dedicated” is the proper way to enable the DRLs on factory projectors. If you have quad headlamps, then the dedicated DRL wires are not populated, but you can add them, and pretty much use them to run whatever lights you want to as DRLs.

On my 17' Tradesman I had my 18' UAQ installed and used Mike's cargo camera pigtail that allowed me to use my cargo cam factory pin inputs for my front camera but, on my 2016 SLT I have the factory cargo camera and backup camera but I would like to add the front camera again. I don't think I would like to install a lockpick and I wish Customtronix Enzo was not so pricey. Does anyone have any other ideas how I can install a front camera again?

Those were set to ”no” already, so no luck there.

I managed to get the error away when the truck isn’t running, even headlights on..As soon as I start it, it’ll start to give park lamp out error..so kinda half way there though.

My guesses are that the one wire to ”running” alpharex uses might be the culprit or then there is some ”hot diagnostic” line still for front park lamps.

I think it's the led's they use. The gen 1 lights were fine with changes with alfaobd but the g2's with switchbacks alfaobd can't seem to fix

As the blinker works fine, I'd rather not drop the money to buy a new headlight assembly just to get rid of the message on the dash. I could not find any options in alfa to disable the message though. Thoughts?

Is the error turn signal or park light out? Running switchbacks can give park light out when parking lights are on and you hit the turn signal. On my 18 I gave up and installed 300 ohm resistors to provide a load when the switchback bulbs shut off park light because turn signal is on.

Are you getting hyper flash on the dash?

I realize it's about the simplest thing one can do with the AlfaOBD but I'm still pleased to successfully add the single zone ATC to my RA4 conversion.

How did you do this? Did you have to add the internal cabin temp sensor or what? I’d love to have single zone ATC.
