When I changed my battery out I asked the same question and I’ve been looking through settings for the IBS Intelligent Battery Sensor and found the ones applied to my 2016 1500 5.7 are the same as the 2016 2500 6.7 Cummins which tells me they’re probably the same across the board.I worried about this also, I couldn't get the dealer even to tell me if I had ECM code for battery type sensing. So I said screw it and put one in anyway. I haven't boiled it yet - which would be the failure mode (overcharge - AGMs are more efficient so need a lower charge rate).
