I will ask again because I checked the diary - if the F and E connector and pins 42 and 3 show me, does it mean that there is an exit for the flashers on the back? normally there are no pins in the connector in bcm - climbing pins and wires will control the flashers? maybe that's why it shows a bulb error but all in all only when I press the brake pedal for a while.
I attach a photo
In order to get separated brake lights and turn signals, the turn signal output wires need to be added to the BCM to drive the added turn signal bulbs. BCM connector C5/E pin 3 is for the left turn signal, and BCM connector C6/F pin 42 is for the left turn signal.

CBC I/O rear turn lamps output present needs to be changed to “set”

CBC Features combined rear lighting enabled needs to be changed to “not set”

CBC Features single element tail lamps- If you want the brake light to drop out on the side that the turn signal is being used, change this to “set”. If you want the brake light on the side that the turn signal is used to remain lit, change this setting to “not set”.

Set the LED settings for all the appropriate bulb locations that you are using LEDs.

The reason I ask is I had problems, and so did alot of others with the nav next turn not showing ,just a blank screen just like your showing for fuel economy, I had to switch out evic to another one...
Still have a blank screen after 400km of driving [emoji2357] any ideas what to try?
The the EVIC be "reset"?

Victory! Now I just need to swap pins and see if it plays audio...

Ok, so while the button appears it doesn't detect that their is audio in the same way as the AUX connection. I'm assuming it has to read a disc before it even plays audio.

So, I switched back to AUX left/right. I'll start a new thread once I have all my tests done and the switch installed. I did test each camera to make sure they are still working for when the switch arrives (slow boat from Korea). Front camera in the license plate works well...

Edit: the black bars around the front license plate camera is my bull bar...

Where are the tpms settings found, same place I changed the threshold limits before

I saw this thread discussed and again I didn't find a definitive answer.

I have a 2017 Dodge Ram 5500 Dually 4x4 and have noticed it does not have the TPMS information screen in the cluster.
I read on here that many of the Commercial Trucks do not have TPMS at all and have TPIS instead.
I have seen some 3500 Duallys that do have the TPMS for all 6 Tires, but my build sheet nor dealer can show is has any type of Pressure sensors installed.
I ask because I read on here that all late model dodge trucks at least have TPIS, and if that is the case, is there way to verify and/or have it display in the cluster information screen?

You should be able to connect to the rf hub and read the hub. It will show sensors Id's if you have any.

how and where did you separate the signal for brake and turn lights?

if the rear turn light pins "F 42 and E 3" you ADDED wiring to and turned it on in alpha
there is another setting for combined tail lights that would NEED to be turned off

I used the function - Combined Rear Lamp - NO

currently in BCM in connector F Pin 42 and E pin 3 I do not have wires in the plug - that is, I have to connect the plug with the cable and connect it to the rear lamps and it should be a blinker?

OK, I got the paid ver of Alpha and the MX+... I only see diagnostics. The instrument cluster had some user changeable values but everything else that I looked at was only diagnostics. What am I doing wrong?

Can you post some screen shots of what you are seeing?

There have been others that have posted with 2018 that have used 2017 settings successfully.

Hello all. I installed '19 taillights on my '18 3500 with custom harnesses. They get the turn signal power from wire i ran from the front turn signals. The lights work fine, the only issue is the turn signal indicator on the dash hyper-flashes and i get L&R rear turn signal out errors. Even with hyperflash on dash, exterior turn signals flash at normal rate. Tried all alpha settings i can find. Any ideas to fix this? Thanks.

Note: truck is a limited that had oem projectors and led tails.

See my post from earlier today- https://www.ramforum.com/threads/alfaobd.123982/page-1043#post-2216434
You’re having the same issue as the other member. You can’t just grab the front turn signal and disable combined rear lighting, because the BCM is now wondering where exactly your rear turn signals went. You need to use the actual rear turn signal outputs on the BCM, and enable the settings for it.

Hello every one. As so many have said this is an addicting site to visit. I'm loving the all that the AlfaOBD allows us to do. So far I have only made it to page 674. There is so much information here. I'm curious and haven't found the answer yet. Can I install a gas 7" EVIC in 2014 Cummins 2500 and make it work? I have deleted it and would rather have the extra gauge showing instead of a dead useless DEF gauge.

I'm pretty sure you can. Obviously the rpm gauge will be higher than a diesel one. It's possible that you might not have some options. There is a good thread on the 7" cluster upgrade, I think it's in the 4th gen diy section. You'll find definite answers there

is your 18 the "classic" MK4 and the tails are from a "NEW style" MK5 ???
I thought they did not interchange if they DO that is COOL to hear
