I haven't fully decided yet, probably a 18x9 though

You should be fine with a -12 unless you want a wider stance.

I'm not really worried about clearance, just looking for opinions on which will look better. Thanks,

Gotcha. -24 will stick out almost 1 3/4" over stock. Stock offset is +19 on the 20s. This will give you a good meaty stance if that's what you're after.

Would this not make it stick it out 2.5-2.75 because of the addition tire width as well? or am i doing math wrong somewhere?

42mm difference with rim+ the additional inch of tire?

I just did that math based on converting the offsets to inches, so the center of the wheel will be sticking out that far. If you add the extra tire width you're probably at 2.25-2.5 I'd guesstimate since you're not really changing the width of the wheel.

Ok perfect, any personal preferences as to which way i should go? I'm sure they will both look good, because its only a half inch difference either way, but still looking for opinions before i pull the trigger

Stance is a personal preference, but you also need to take into account local laws which may stipulate how far out an uncovered tire is allowed to stick, which is why fender flares were invented. The -12 is generally OK in most places, -24 requires flares in many areas.

Definitely check the local laws. You'll be fine either way.
