At those temps, the battery and sensors are not ready for prime time. An overnight cold-soak at anything much below 0ºF can be a problem. At those temps, a battery heater is your best defense. The other alternative is a better battery, I'd check with the battery guys and see if they have any ideas. We used to have some aircraft batteries (not the Boeing 787 units) that could tolerate low temps better. I wonder if Optima has anything that might work in cold temps.
