Lol I’m always looking for sponsors! I could only imagine how much more abuse these trucks would take if the money didn’t come out of our own pockets.
I reckon you'd need a new frame bi annually. But watching what would happen would be priceless. Hell I'm back on stock 20s just to curb my desire to abuse this thing. Grandpa tires are a perfect deterrent.

Removed the SLF-140 coils and slapped my old Icons back with the Daystar 1" spacers.
I can tell the difference in the handling department as with the Superlift the rear had definetely more body roll, Icons can for sure manage the weight i have in a better way as the rear feels more planted everywhere especially around corners. Took the truck to my local testing ground to shake those spacers and make them settle. As expected the rear is back again to 41" (40 7/8" if i'm going to be picky :))

These are the spacers, plug and play just remove the factory isolators and plug this back in, they have the groove for the coil to fit it like a sock

No need for TB bracket anything, handles the same as before when the rear was 1" lower, axel is shifted 1/8" so the difference is nothing ill ever worry about.

1" lower with the SLF-140

Ordered them from Barnes, thought about doing the Johnny joints but they are out of my budget to use on a trackbar. I started to price out how much it would cost to build upper/lower control arms for the rear using Johnny joints and would be about the same price as the Core 4x4 ones and those come powder coated. Here’s the website, they have a bunch of cool stuff on there (mainly geared toward jeeps).

@ram1500rsm , i've been eyeing those spacers too. seem like the cheapest I could get around here in Canada. They go on top of the coils, right? no modding necessary? saw a few people complaining on amazon they don't fit. any idea what they could be doing wrong?

No idea, but yes they go on top of the coil springs. Just take the factory isolators out and bolt this ones in, then put the springs back.

I've been scouting the web looking to see if the Hellwig will hinder offroad performance and i haven't been able to find anything other than how awesome the rear feels like after install.
So i thought to find out if the rear can extend the same after i get the Hellwig installed

With stock Mopar 20mm rear sway bar
Tire to fender measurements (Falken AT3W 315/70/17)
Truck level at rest: 7 1/4
Max Droop tire in the air with the other side tucked in the bumpstop: 14 1/2
Total droop: 7 1/4
Have no idea if the Hellwig will shorten that out but in theory the outer hole should be the same as stock so we shall see once i get the thing back there.

Got the Hellwig installed this afternoon and It does make a nice difference in handling. The factory one is really another pos worst than the factory trackbar I must add in terms of wimpy factor. sometimes I can’t believe FCA gets away with this cheapy parts on a truck that is supposed to be able to tow 10k lbs.

And i just went out for a quick droop test, happy to report zero performance hindrance in this regards, at least on the most outer holes. She was able to extend one leg in full at 14 1/2"

Curious what your extension would be without a sway bar at all.

I never officially measured but i did the test to find out with and without rear sway bar
https://www.ramforum.com/posts/1812008/

I'll say the rear bar is good for prob 1/2" more droop. Not worth the loss in handling, and even if you're offroading at speed, the trackbar really makes such a dramatic difference both front and rear that it wouldn't be an improvement.

I also did the test without the front one, uptravel in this case you'll have 1.5" more uptravel, but at the expense of ****** onroad handling, and to be honest the truck didn't handle that geat at speed without the front sway bar, i guess if you're crawling then having no front will give you a little better uptravel performance

Makes sense why the drag racers remove the front end links, almost 2 more inches of front lift transfers a lot of weight to the rear tires for launch.
