2017 ram 3.6L cylinder 5 misfire

For the life of me I’ve searched Google and in this forum and I cannot find a good source on what cylinder is what on this engine, I’ve seen one thing that said it’s:

5 6
3 4
1 2
Front

And one that says it’s
6 5
4 3
2 1
Front

Can anyone help?

I have a 17 ram 1500 big horn 3.6L 4x4.

1,3,5 is passenger and 2,4,6 is the driver side.

Do you figure it's a bad coil?

I’m going to replace everything tomorrow, this issue is intermittent and the evap purge valve keeps going bad repeatedly as well.

Thanks that is what I was leaning towards but I wanted to be sure since this is only happening on cylinder 5 I wanted to be able to troubleshoot it properly.

A good way to know as well is that cylinder 1 is always the most forward cylinder. So if you’re looking at the engine you’ll be able to see cylinder 1 is further forward than cylinder 2.

I tried checking that out, I honestly couldn’t see the difference.

So I plugged in my engine code reader and I got cylinder three misfire. Spark plug? Spark plug wire? Possibly more to that? The truck runs perfectly fine gas mileage hasn’t changed
