3.6 Headers

I am looking for a pair of shorty headers for my 2014 Ram 1500 Quad Cab 2WD 3.6 Pentastar. I want to change my truck over to a dual exhaust system, with 1/4 to 1/2 inch larger pipes. I'm adding VR Tuning ECM to my truck with the 'Tuning Package' 325HP.

V6 can be made to sound good. Yes, they can. Get over your bad self.

The catch is, that it's not cheap. Buy cheap, it'll sound cheap.

I'd look at Borlas.

Absolutely, you could pretty much bolt the turbo directly to the head.

Like said above, headers are out, but you don't need them anyway for the pentastar. The OEM exhaust wouldn't be difficult for someone with the skills and resources. Sorry about the glare in this pic, but here's the underside of my (former) 2017 Ram 1500 quad cab 4x4 w/pentastar).

These have kind of an old school setup with equal sized flanged downpipes on either side of the trans. You could have a real dual system made up easily. The catalytic converters and up/down stream O2 sensors are way up out of the way by the engine.

I tried to find exhaust for my daughter’s 2016 4d wrangler Sahara noting sounded good now she has a 2019 grand Cherokee altitude with the stock single exhaust v6 and it sounds pretty good from the factory

I think what may sound good to one person, doesn't sound good to someone else. Some like the buzzy 4 and V6 sound, some like the v8 raspy burble.

To me, no matter what you do, you can't make the Penstastar sound sexy. You can make it loud for sure! Just my old ears I suppose.

I love the pentastar. I've owned them and would own one again in a heartbeat.
