Yes I’m not too bright I know. This is my first time wanting this done.

I may not be very bright but at least I had the brains to talk with the experts on this forum before I paying out this kind of scratch.

Please just don’t go back to that shop ..... Price the lift, wheels, and tires you want online, and multiply by 1.5 .... That should be close to what you should pay total ....

Back before my lift I had a 3" front and 2" rear spacer. Stock 33s it was like 40 1/4 front fender and 42 rear if I remember correctly

Where did you buy your 2" rear spacers from? I need to do the same thing but heard if you dont buy really good ones it can lead to snapped posts. Thanks

You might want to select your tires/wheels etc and decide on a budget you can live with then select a lift to fit that budget

This the quote I got.

that’s not far off for that kit. That’s top of the line. There is less expensive options out there but $5k for a no spacer lift is the going rate

@kirwinjd Kit retails at $4300 install is $700 you are not beating that price. $1,000 is the standard install 10 hours of labors and an alignment. At my shop we normally do the zone lift with the bds coil overs and save a few dollars. If you buy wheels and tires at the same time we can shave a little more off. You don’t want the most expensive shop around but you definitely don’t want the cheapest. You want a shop that only does suspension work. The everyday mechanic shops end up doing more harm not torquing anything. There are plenty of install videos on you tube showing guys zipping everything back together in the air with air tools. Exactly how you don’t want your suspension installed.

Yea thats not a bad price for that kit, and their labor rate looks spot on. If you are satisfied with the current ride of your truck and are looking to save some cash, get the 6” spacer kit instead which will reuse the current struts up front. It will save you a couple grand.

Those coilovers are a $2000 upgrade? The rest of the kit is the same as the 6” spacer kit, correct?

Sounds like a good idea. Thanks
What is a good tire for a 6” lift?

All depends on the look you’re going for, what rear spring option you choose (3” or 5”) etc.

6' with a 35x12.5 on a 24x14. My speedo is recalibrated to a 33.5 tire because of the stretch. Personally I don't like thw lip exposed that much if I stick with 35s next set will be a minimum of 13.5 wide. You can also check out customoffsets.com 20200711_131550.jpg

I originally had a front 2.5” levelling kit on, but did not like how it settled, the front always looked higher to me, so I decided to put in a 4” ready lift kit, I figured a 6” would be too high to fit in certain parking structures, I’m happy with my decision!

Yup, rescued a sport hood from the wreckers, had some hail damage, the coating filled in the imperfections, had it colour matched
