4x4 overheated??

Anybody have an issue... dash telling me 4wheel overheated temporary performance loss... now my 4wheel dont work.. and its when its first started too... im guessin actuator but thanks for any help

check transfer case fluid, could have shorted out as well, check fuse.

you haven't had any work done under the truck recently, even stuff like drilling in steps?

My boss' truck had the same issue on his a few weeks ago. T-case was 1/2 quart low.

Check the fluid, if it’s burnt chances are the clutches have failed.
