I just purchased mopar running boards. They are very slick but they make my truck look a little lower. Below is a little write up on how to install them.
Part number is 82211702AD (comes in brilliant black)
Box opened showing the bottom of one running board

Right Rivnut is inserted and tightened down. The left one is about to be tightened. Basically insert the black rivnut screw into the rivnut by hand until it is tight. Then insert the full rivnut and rivnut tightener into the designated hole.

Keep the loose nut in place with a wrench (the wrench closest to the sheet metal. Take the bolt head and tighten it with a wrench. The rivnut becomes smashed against the sheet metal. Keep tightening with the wrench until you feel that it is snug.

The middle bracket may be off (depending on which truck you have ie regular, extended, crew, mega...). Under the running board is two 10mm nuts. loosen them and slide the bracket so the holes line up.

Completed install! Notice that the smaller gap is closer to the front and the larger gap is at the rear. By gap I mean the plastic foot plate near the end of the running board.
