Hi guys n gals… 2007 5.9….my AC slowly started blowing warmer this summer. Took a road trip last month and by the time I got home it was blowing warm. I had a loud squeak for a couple months that I was told was the belt but by the time I finished my trip the squeak was gone. The temp has not changed and the truck is running better than ever...
I took the truck to a shop and had them evacuate the freon from the system. I replaced the orifice line and accumulator, vacuumed the system and it is holding vacuum. I slowly recharged the system with a couple cans of R134. I’m getting VERY high pressure readings on the manifold gauge set and the AC is still blowing hot. Any thoughts or suggestions?
