Yes you can program mileage and hours. You'll most likely get a "failed to complete" message after but it will program them. There is a video by @BigDaddysHouse on how to do it

New update out. Still haven't been able to change my hours. Got a procedure completed message when turning the key to accessory instead of on but no change in the actual cluster.

I had some people comment on my channel. Few have said when you put the key in (the first click) ACC position and then fire up AlfaOBD.
It has worked for some... Give it a try let us know if it works for you.

DRLs should turn off if the truck is in park or the parking brake is set.
Depending on which lights you have selected as your DRLs will vary when they are on but normal light function will take precedence over DRL operation. I'm using the dedicated set of DRLs, they will turn on if I remote start or turn the running lights on even if the truck is in Park.

As @crash68 is correct. If you have the lights in the on position or on the parking lights the drl's will be off. If you have the switch in the auto or off position the drl's will be activated once in drive/neutral or reverse. The parking break deactivates drl's.

Thanks! I had dropped off the truck for new tires and saw in the window my lights on, even with the light switch to off. But you are right, when you put it in Park, the drl's go off. All good!

I just read it's possibly for inside temperature control for the trucks that have Auto Temp on the hvac

It's not the ATC temperature sensor, that is on the lower dash panel on the driver's side. It's not the humidity sensor used in the 1500s either, that is against the windshield

In 2009 to 2012 models there used to be a sensor there that looks like a camera. It is no longer used but they use the same mold except the hole is plugged.

It's a great place to run an external microphone for those with aftermarket radios.

I was thinking of moving my microphone for my UAQ there to see if Google could hear me better.

Just go slow drilling out the plug (start small and make the hole larger in steps). If you do it right you can friction fit the microphone in place.

It's nice because even if you remove the microphone the hole is recessed. It's angle also means the microphone points somewhat toward the driver, the bell shape acts as somewhat of a collector of sound.

For larger microphones, it leaves enough area behind for the wire to run through and then you can surface mount the microphone.

New app update just a little while ago,
2.1.7.5. Maybe that will help those with problems.

Doesn't seem like this Alfaobd update fixed the google drive upload. However later I'll try a more in depth, clear cache etc login.
