Going to try this again, didn't seem to work for me the first time. I have the ITBC from the factory with factory tow package. I was able to select the trailer name CSM, and could select different names, but they didn't change in the radio (5"). Maybe it only shows on the 8.4"?

That is a possibility but I can’t be sure. If you’re able to get it to show on the RA2, a trailer needs to be connected in order to show the names.

I could get the names to show without a trailer connected, maybe they won't take in the radio without connection? Have to try.

For me it could be because I don’t have a break controller. I was experimenting when I had the codes set.

AlfaOBD only enables factory options. I don’t believe this is possible.

Ghost ram,I had the dealer add the cd to my express also was just curious about the alfa obd doing it.dealer didn't charge but 60.00 but was going to put that toward a alpha obd if I added cd to my new truck.

I looked for it once but didn’t see it. I’ll look through again and see if I can find it. I would think it would be in there.

A new version for Android was released last night. (2.1.5.0). I haven't had time to do more than take a peek, but there's a bunch more modules under the radio section & the BCM section and the BCM "Car Configuration Change" section now has categories in front of all the settings that look like they will match up with the categories in the BCM dumps. Should make it a bit easier to find things.

Note: If you have a pre-release version of 2.1.5.0 installed, the update does not show up. I think I may have to completly un-install and re-install it on the device I have the pre-release on in order to get the full release.

@Ricks Ram - There is now a separate 2014 BCM option. I didn't see anything different from the 13-17 option on a quick perusal though.

A bit off topic, but I had to ask. As I understand we can program a FOBIK for the Ram using AlphaOBD and OBDLink MX providing we have the PIN code from a dealer.

1. We can program up to 4 FOBIK's for a Ram. I just want a spare to leave with a friend.
2. Question is will I be able to program a FOBIK for my friends 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan?

Just ordered my MX bluetooth so am looking forward to some projects.

I'm liking the new version. It should make searching a little easier especially when trying to help someone locate a setting.

When connecting to "radio" under radio navigator module for MY2013-16 powernet you can set the buzzer, keysense pin and vin write. I can't find it in the BCM in "radio" settings either. Not even in my logs I've downloaded. Other than setting the SD, AUX, USB and so on.. I'm stumped

The install instructions for the remote start for my 2014 mentions that the RF hub can "know" up to 8 FOBIKs, so I think it's 8.

2. There is a listing for Dodge Grand Caravan (RT)

Edit: @retep Just opened my Windows version (not connected of course) and did not see an RF hub listed for the Grand Caravan. So this is probably not possible with Alfa? Have you looked online at programming with existing fobs and controls in vehicle. There are some vehicles in which you can do this.

Interesting point on this one. If you get the CD addon from Infotainment, they do not give you a Genie to update the BCM like they do with most of their kits. The CD kit has a little "mystery box" on the harness instead.

I wonder if the CD setting is one of the ones in the radio itself that can't be accessed via the OBD system due to the security barriers in the radio that are meant to keep the vehicle from being hacked over the cell system?

That's a very good question. I purchased only the Android version via the Play store, so I can update/install through there. I suspect you may need to ping Alexey (the Dev) about that.
