Ohh okay. Im gonna try and update it later today. When you did your update do you leave your truck on ...acc or run or actually start it ?18.45.01 was released to fix 18.43.01 (ota), which caused all kinds of issues.

So I gave up on trying to enable travel link on my 2017 Canadian Uconnect a while back, but 2 days ago I got a wind warning on my Uconnect and it was labeled travel link on the top right-hand corner, I pressed the travel link button and low and behold movie listings gas prices etc all came up... I even set my gas type for gas station prices and location. I was able to explore the travel link app thoroughly! So I can confirm travel link does exist on the Canadian Uconnects. However once I close the app no option or soft button on the apps screen to get back into it. I went into Alpha OBD to enable travel link the app button it still never appeared. Any thoughts on how to enable it? Anyway Alfaobd can unlock it for Canadians? Maybe a different method? You only need to enable it when you install a UAQ radio which is a 2018 or newer. Since your truck is a 17 you have either the RA3 VP3 CA dealer Nav activated or RA4 VP4 CA factory Nav radio. The CA stands for Canada and they don't have the same features as the NA radios which stands for North America. The Travel Link is not available on the Nav activated RA3 radios. I am pretty sure the Travel Link is only available in the VP4 NA and not the VP4 CA but I'm not positive. In any case if your 8.4 radio was capable it would not need to have the code enabled in order for the Travel Link to work. It's in the software of the radio and doesn't need the code in the BCM activated. If you go into your subscription settings on your radio and it only shows a subscription for XM radio and not an option for Travel Link and Traffic your radio isn't capable.

I was playing around after the new update and I saw there is a setting for the auto headlight threshold. Has anybody played with it yet? I'm hoping I can get the headlights to not come on so soon.

Ok thanks appreciate itYou do not need to leave it running, just the key on(run). Mine updated just fine like that. They just tell you to start it so if you have a weak battery it doesn't die halfway through the process. If you think your battery is on the way out it may be a good idea to start it, if not you will be fine.
.
I saw you just installed it in the other thread. Give it a day, and it’ll all shake out automatically. It took me about a day and a half for the volume to work correctly, all my relevant radio settings to show up, the climate controls to switch from dual to single, and the Sirius controls to show up. The only thing you need to enable is travel link if you want that. Mine came with all the Sirius subscriptions subscribed, but they all went to unsubscribed after two weeks.Ok, I've tried searching through here but I'm not finding any quick answers. I just installed a UAS Uconnect radio and want to get the Auto Climate Dual Zone off the screen (I have single zone), get the SXM button on the screen (Subscribtion shows active until 7/23/2020) and get my OEM reverse camera working. Are there any particaular settings I need to look at for a UAS radio?
Thanks, everything is working now. Will travel link work even if I have no subscription?I saw you just installed it in the other thread. Give it a day, and it’ll all shake out automatically. No the Travelink/Realtime Traffic will not work without a subscription.
