I can deal with resonance, some noise is totally fine.

Correct - I worded that response about resonance incorrectly. I meant to say that I can deal with some exhaust noise; ie I’m not looking for stock levels of quiet.Resonance is a phenomenon that occurs when an object or system is subjected to an external force or vibration whose frequency matches a resonant frequency (or resonance frequency) of the system, defined as a frequency that generates a maximum amplitude response in the system. When this happens, the object or system absorbs energy from the external force and starts vibrating with a larger amplitude.

I actually did end up wrapping the full exhaust, double wrapped it after reading an old response of yours. It definitely helpedWrapping the exhaust with header wrap helps dampen pipe resonances that contribute to drone.
Quite often it'd deaden the majority of resonances that contribute to drone, but there's always that one wave form that still exists that even header wrap can't dampen. How much of the exhaust system did you wrap?I actually did end up wrapping the full exhaust, double wrapped it after reading an old response of yours. It definitely helped
Both out the same side?I side dumped my exhaust , No cats ,flowmaster 50 , no more drone. But Loud AF![]()
