What's louder than a straight pipe because my exhaust cutout doesn't seem to be that loud compared to others

You're certainly not going grammatically correct. *deaf. And if you have a cutout, odds are it's obnoxious, you're just immune to it. I used to think my 67 belvedere didn't sound too bad uncapped, until I ran to the shop to grab a too one day and on my way home I heard my brother pulling it out of the garage, from like 3 blocks away. It was, in fact, ridiculous. Haha

I ran straights with a gutted cat, dumped in front of the right side rear of my old 5.2. It sounded amazing to me and pissed off everyone else within a mile.

I've found that a cutout with the cats still in place can be on the 'quiet' side of loud. I made the mistake of running with open LT headers, no cats, and a 15psi supercharger on my hemi ... I actually felt sorry for the people around me. It was bad enough I had to wear ear plugs just moving it from my place to the exhaust shop and I never went over 50km/h.

Running a cut out could make you start to go deaf which may make the word deaf sound like death. However, I don't know what would cause someone to "grab a too" . ;)

If you want louder, throw a set of longtubes with no cats in front of that cutout. That is all the noise you could ever want out of a truck.
