another HID flickering problem

so ive got the same problem as usual with flickering

ive done hids before and never ran into this problem if i would have known i would have just bought them from JJ like everyone else says

so i bought the cancelers i believe with the capacitor and it still didnt work same problem, do i need a relay harness? and is there anyway i could make my own relay harness because i dont feel like waiting another week for one to get to my house since i hard wired my hids?


also i got leds for my parking/blinker is there a way to make them so the truck doesnt think the bulb is out and blink really fast

Make sure the ballasts are grounded to metal. I had to ground the negative wire of each ballast to metal at the ballast to stop my flicker. The relay harness carried the ground back near the battery instead of right off of the ballast.

Need more info on how this is wired. No relay harness? hard wired? rut roh...

For the turns, get some 50w6ohm resistors and wire them in.

i dont have a wireing harness for them, just a plug and play kit with the cancelers but i didnt like how they connected to the actual headlight bulb plug so i cut and soldered the 3 wires (ground,high,low)

well all i did is instead of having a plug i have them wired together idk wat the difference would be but i can put the plug back in no problem, or should i just buy one of your kits, and what do they run because i just want headlights again, im about to forget hids and go back to halogen for my headlights

Yeah, I'm not going to turn away an order.....lol - our H13 bixenon sets run 165 shipped in the states. Thats for the harness, bulbs and ballasts - everything needed for your truck.

got it, yea this is my first dodge and if i would have done my research to begin with i would have just bought them from you because now im in my kit 140 bucks and its useless to me, but im running the hid low and halogen high, i wont even use the high beam because for my high beam ive got an led light bar i can use lol

if you are running that kit, we'd need to do a special harness for them, we don't stock a HID low / halogen high setup. Will need to dig into what is required on that again here.

I will be ordering son the relay kit from you. I have a set of Philips Hid lights and balasts and they worked for a while but now the passenger side goes out on me sometimes. Replaced the relay but still shuts off. Not sure what the problem is I thought that I had it fixed.

Ordered the harness, but I think I screwed up when I made my account. Sent a message to you by way of your contact form.
