With it being 15% I'm expecting probably 7-8 horsepower increase (maybe 10 but that's optimistic) based on the couple dozen underdrive pulleys I've ordered for all my vehicles for the last 30 years. I'm looking into an underdrive water pump and alternator pulley to extract a couple more on this application as well.

8-10hp is reasonable. I wanted it simply for the increased dampening for the crankshaft...the hp gain is just an added bonus. For the guys spinning upwards of 6000rpms before the shift, this will ensure that the crank is spinning smoothly without vibration. ATI is the best in the business when it comes to damper pulleys.

Yes it does.... Its just a 6% OD not underdrive

Also my current mods are -
Procharger w/intercooler, ARH longtubes, 3" straight pipes, 180stat, clutch fan removed, Optima battery,
UP COMING MODS - 3200 stall from Moe's Performance, Trans by L&M customs (MGH)

- QUESTION -
1). is this a good mod for my truck?
If so - what would I benefit from it?..
& I read something about blown vehicles...
can some one elaborate for me pls?...

You would make more boost from the overdrive, but the underdrive will let you spool up a tad bit quicker and make less boost. Either one is an upgrade due to the harmonic dampener.

anyways -
i'm a total dummy when it comes to this, can you guys explain to me why the 6% ?..
reason I ask is -
do I just buy this mod & install it & will I need special tunning
or
is it a combination of things like - do I buy both?.. ( the OD & UD )

& if so -
the OD link you all posted, is that the one for my truck & do I just buy it directly from there, that same one?....

ATI Tech: Yes, all entered and orders are in. We should be about 2 weeks on having them ready to ship.

Just got a bunch of tracking numbers from ups so looks like our UD pulleys are on the way. I'll go through the tracking numbers and email them to the correct buyer later tonight
