Is anyone else running into this issue....

When plugging in my iPhone X into the USB port my downloaded music instantly plays . I try to listen to iHeartRadio and it starts to play but then gets constantly interrupted by my downloaded music . It’s extremely frustrating. The auto play function is turned off via my stereo , but there’s not way to not automatically play downloaded music on the iPhone itself. ?? I’ve called apple and they blame the truck..... I am due for a Uconnect update which may fix the fact that I can’t use my iHeartRadio app in uconnect.... (that’s always been touchy ) but I really would just rather use my charging cable via the USB port to listen to iHeartRadio or other media aside from my downloaded music

The only thing I can think of is that your UConnect setting is on Autoplay. If you’re saying it’s not, though, then I’m not sure what the culprit might be. Try going into Settings > Cellular (wait for the drop down to show all apps) > Music (ITunes) and toggle the switch to OFF. That should prevent ITunes from using cellular data to play music. Not sure if this will work, but it’s worth a shot!! Good luck!

Thanks for the advice .... yea I’ve done the auto play setting and the cellular data disable too . Still doesn’t work. Does the same thing when I use Bluetooth or usb cord. So irritating.

I've had some weirdness lately as well, I turned the autoplay setting on and it seemed to have stopped. I will check to see if I have a UConnect update...
