I broke the lens on my 2020 Ram 2500. All that is broke is the lens, not the housing or brake lights. It appears that there are 4 screws that may hold the lens on the housing. Can I replace the lens rather than the whole assembly?

The reason for my question is because the assembly is very expensive! Any ideas?

Thanks

Which brake/turn signal housing do you have? There's a couple different styles.
Typically the lenses are bonded/glued to the back of the housings and not easily taken apart. Usually involves baking them in an oven to soften the glue.
You might want to check www.car-part.com to find one at a salvage yard.
Make note that the 2019 and newer HD trucks do not use the same front or rear light assemblies as the similar year Gen5 1500s. They do match in shape to the Gen4 trucks but the wiring is different on some of them.

3rd brake light or a taillight? Doesn’t really matter either way as the lenses aren’t replaceable.

check your local craigslist/FB marketplace, stockers are usually on there. Just sometimes the seller thinks they are selling at OEM prices
Also one of the parts place here have replacements for pretty good prices. I used one for my 2018 and fits perfect and was only $70

Alpharex and morimoto both make aftermarket assemblies for around $500

I've purchased them for various vehicles on ebay over the years for pennies on the dollar... worth a shot.

Depends upon style and whether LED or Halogen. If halogen you might get lucky. If The whole light is LED you sol. Sealed units. A new one for my 2019 5th Gen was $538.00 but maybe cheaper now. .

I see u got Cummins which model BH, Laramie ??? And which tail light assemblies halogen or LED?
