I have a near stock 2013 express with Moes stage 1 hpt cam and arh headers with cats and y pipe tuned by Hemifever and diablospprt Trinity 2. Catch can on the way I haven’t driven the truck yet I’m still in the cam install process what other mods do I need the truck has 106k miles. I’m looking for longevity and durability. Thinking about valve body upgrade and torque converter.

What modifications are actually done to the truck?

Which modifications are you planning for?

TC would be a good upgrade. Talk to Moe's for his recommendation on which TC would best match your cam given how you use your truck.

Which trans is in the truck? 6 speed or 8 speed? Also new water pump and spark plugs are a good start if not done already. If you’re not running a CAI I would suggest that or swap the lower Air box out for the eco diesel/ 6.4 air box bottom half and then run the larger eco/6.4 air filter. Could also look into a 6.4 intake manifold swap and ported TB. I prefer the ported Tb from elite hemi performance or from fastman but moes has a good Tb as well.

I have a similar set up and for durablilty/longevity go with the valve body for sure. I got one of Central Valve Bodies' Xtreme Duty outfits that's built for tuning and high line pressure. The lower billet plate is as hardcore as they come except for maybe the one Revmax makes.
