So I just ordered my s&b intake from Moe's last night and from what I have read a catch can is really good idea so I was looking at billet technologies new see through can but they give you bracket options unlike the standard can so what bracket is best since I will have the s&b Cai and also my truck has 82k miles the first owner barley maintained the truck is it to far gone to even worry about a catch can is there any advice to get my truck back to safe and worry free any help would be great thanks fellas

I would just clean your throttle body when you install the intake, and use a rag to wipe out as much oil from the opening of the intake manifold as you can...then install your catch can.

This is what we did on the shop truck we bought a few months ago that had 72k miles on it, and the truck runs very strong.

We can get the clear bottom can for you, but it would have to be special ordered...we only stock the regular satin cans. Special orders from BT can range anywhere from 2-4 weeks, so it may be better to just go through them on this one. Their products are all top quality, but they are just a little slow to ship sometimes.

I like to have one of those clear can bottoms. I'm always thinking when was the last time I dumped it. They work really good!

I don't collect near as much crudgy nasty oil as most of you but I still don't want that crap going back into the engine. Common sense IMO.

Yeah me either but I'm about to do a oil change and this is my first time going 6000 miles on it. So I'm wanting to see what comes out. lol
