So Noticed My Truck Staying At 203-208
Then At A Stop Goes Up To 222-226
Then While Driving Drops Back To 203-208

Anybody Else Notice There Temp
Going That High Kinda Worried

Check to see if the fan run at a slow speed with the AC on. The cooling fan is electric, check for about a 100 Z-Case fuse attached to the battery terminal.

Mines been doing that since brand new. They told me the new 19’s run a little hotter. They checked everything and said the fan was working normally. And I have turned the A/C on and waited a few minutes and the fan comes on and runs until I turn the A/C off.

The mechanical fan is gone, they should have these 5th Gens getting 20+ mpg all day with improved aeros and weight reduction which is baffling. Once removed on the Gen4s mine saw +1mpg increase instantly.

On the plus side, tuners will be able to make big margins.

Idk anything about it but that seems high- interesting that it’s normal. An Efan should have a little more performance but since they rate them at the crank it’s all the same

My 19 does the same since new. Also the transmission runs hot but I am told it is also normal at 190 to195 deg.

Yeah I also noticed that mine runs a little hotter than my 2016 did.
