Still Need to install my new JBA LT headers first before heading back to the dyno, waiting on flange connectors

...But here's my buddy's run with JBA shorty headers, (now has ARH LT's)
and no water **** kit at the time, otherwise we have nearly identical builds.

Our CMR cut the run short when it started to lean out after 5600RPM,
but clearly HP was still climbing towards 500, Water/**** kit surely fixed that now.

Going back as soon as my custom built transmission is finished re-building, needs replacement OD clutches
We've already torn open my stock trans and replaced clutches last weekend as a practice run.

trans skipped and studdered when trying to shift 1-2 and 2-3 and robbed me of a 12 second run (left lane)

How long you been building yours?
To me 0-60 isn't important, I'll take mine to the track just to know for sure what she will do. Most my races are some kid In daddy car or truck pulling up to me at 60 eye ******* my truck and honking the horn 3 times.... So 60-140 is more important to me but there's not a tree for that.

Your transmission is not going to last very much longer doing this. WOT downshifts are the worst thing for this trans.

Well just got another email from Sean, that's it for my truck, there will not be another tune coming. 14.19 is the best she will do.
I don't understand he never wrote a custom tune with the log I sent. He only sent a tune for my mods.
This did not happen like everyone said it would, I'm pretty disappointed.

He did the same thing to me and I'm sure you and I are not the only ones either. I don't understand all the praise for him and from what I've read it's pretty hard to actually get him to make needed changes when he does.

This is the first I'm reading of this but it's the vibe I got in response to my emails sent to him. Very fast responses, poor grammar and didn't answer all of my questions - not what I'd expect from someone working with engine management software and trying to sell a product. I know people swear by his stuff and I may test it at a later date when TCM tuning is available but these factors have all made me hesitant.

Now I've paid to a custom tune that slowed my truck down and not going to get any thing else with out problems.

Not sure what your problem with him is i bought my custom tune over 2 years ago he still helps me when needed if i text him i get a text right back if i email or call right back hes tweaked my tune when ever i added something so i never had an issue with him. Now dave at white lightning thats another story

lol try dave at w/l and when he drops your tranny youll wish you had stayed with hemifever

so how did his custom tune make you slower and slower as in what no tune or canned tune

My problem is I paid for a custom tune for my truck, the canned diablo tune with my own twicks was faster than his tune.
After I sent him the log all I got back was " yup it's running strong" no custom tune.
So maybe I didn't understand what I was paying for.

ya his custom tune will be tuned for what you have you can also tell him what you want he has always worked with me just tell him your problems now add a s/c or turbo then you really need a custom tune but ive know 100's that have used sean with no problems

To me it's really more like false advertisement. You get a HemiFever canned tune for your add on's that may or may not improve your trucks prefromance.
If I wanted canned tunes that smoked my tires I would have stayed with my BullyDog. The only difference is now I've got a eletlctric fan that will fail at some point down the road.

I need some clarification because I'm probably only a couple months from getting a tuner.

Is the Hemifever a tune of its own or a custom version of one of the fuel tunes? I've already seen where a 180 stat is recommended, is the e-fan necessary for a Hemifever tune as well? I'm starting to question which route to go with this.
