Ive got the lockout on the master switch, dont know of any other lockouts. Is there something else?

Update:

Never realized there's a switch on the rear doors, but no, not locked out. Power locks work, just not window controls, thinking my master control must be wonky.

Haven't really had time to check it, at least they are all "up" and "closed".

My rear sliding window is out, too.

A little update:

Still no diagnosis on my rear window issue.

I did check my catch can (thank you again, @JHoward) , have approx. 500 miles on it. When I opened the ball valve, got about a tablespoon or two of oil out of it.

Figured I might see more in my can given the miles, but not sure what amount is normal.

Also, realized the can itself had come loose, a half-turn or so. Tightened it up, will check it further.
I dump mine every few months, no set schedule, but the last time I dumped it was about 1/2 full.
Usually it is less than a 1/4, not sure if I missed my regular check but I’m going to do it more often from now on.

About how many miles in that interval?

On the oil catch cans I had on my two previous HEMI RAM's, I'd dump the oily **** at every oci(3000 miles).

Sometimes there would be about a 1/4 from the catch can of the oily crap that came out and alot times about two tablespoons ... I'm thinking where I reside, had a little something to do with being more than other times(high humidity causing more of the oily **** to be caught?).

Also, I noticed that installing the oil catch can, my truck wouldn't "puff out" smoke from the exhaust pipes anymore(my truck sometimes would do that on occasion, if it sat idle for a week), Idk ... but it makes sense to me that the oily **** gets pulled PVC system into the throttle body after sitting causing the smoke for a few seconds?

Anyway, good to know you got the oil catch can installed ...

The only smoke I notice is in the ealy morning within a couple minutes after startup while I'm in line waiting my turn to get out on SR82 near my house, and I'm sure that's warming up steam and such.

I do sometimes get a whiff of coolant smell after I get out of the truck parked somewhere. Not every time, but I have smelled it. Coolant is full, so I'm watching it, along with every other strange noise and feel.....lol

It's so nice to have a running vehicle now.

I have a short commute to work, 16 miles round trip, but I sit in a lot of traffic getting to work.
Mileage wise about 2-3k, the stop & go traffic could be affecting the amount.
I work nights so only sit in traffic on the way to work but in N. VA that’s bad enough, average time to drive my afternoon 8 miles is 40 minutes.

I will have to extend my interval a bit before I switch to the RedLine 5W-30, I will likely be ~1000 miles on this SuperTech 5W-30 conventional. Oil is still very clean (God, I hope so after what I've been through, lol)

Pressures are good as well (at least good to me), I hit a repeating mileage number earlier:

Hopefully I will get the transmission service done in a couple weeks. Not sure I will have enough time Thanksgiving weekend, and the following weekend I will be in NC for the weekend.

I will get to see how the truck starts on 5 days rest, curious to see if she clatters, but at the same time, might just do a clear flood on her.

Oil is changed. RedLine 5W-30 is in.

I went a little longer on that conventional oil fill than I wanted to, 1100 miles. It is what it is.

Catch can had about a teaspoon of oil in it.

Did notice higher oil pressures with the RedLine. I like.

I hooked up my reader and had no engine codes, all the monitors were green.

I guess now it's wait and see...

Rear windows still no workie, I will have to get some sort of better scan tool.

Half-tempted to just buy a new master switch, OE are $80 ish at RockAuto.

When I had my HEMI powered RAM and made the move to Red Line 5W/30, the oil pressure increased ... I was concerned at first, but read here in the RAMforum that that would happen and nothing to be concerned about.

I like the higher pressures. It will be interesting to see where the pressures run as the oil gets more life on it.

On my way to work, at full hot, coolant temp was 203°, oil temp was 212°, my oil pressure at 600 rpm idle was 47psi, 3-5 psi higher than the SuperTech 5W-30.

Running at ~1750 rpm, oil pressure was 53 psi, about 3 psi higher than the Supertech 5W-30.

I like these numbers. Alot.

My new 24, classic 5.7 with 14k on the clock runs, 53 psi at 2k rpm and 47 at 600 idle.

Redline 5w30, very comparable numbers.

I'm 61 psi at cold start.

As a random comparsion..
I get ~60 psi at cold start, too. :waytogo:

Hellcat oil pump w/stock relief spring, btw.

Took the Hemi to NC to see the Kids and Grandkids.

She ran really well. Got over 22 mpg according to the evic, so I know I'll at least be at 20 mpg hand-calculated. Not too shabby for a V8 bone-stock engine with 202k miles on her.

Coolant temps ran normal, too. I did see once or twice it got near 220°, but I think that was due to heat soaking effect as well as my use of the skinny pedal, lol.

One thing I notice, is I must have the HTFV (Hemi Tick Fatigue Variant) of PTSD from my saga. Every little noise, tick, and tap I hear, I wonder if something is wrong.

I know how noisy our Hemi's are, too. I guess it will get easier with time.....lol.

I have HTFV too. Caught it from reading the threads here.

It started about the time that guy left the shop towels in his intake ports and had to take his engine apart again

That's why I used the painter's tape to cover my intake and exhaust ports after I was done cleaning the heads.

And I'm sure reading about a person that reversed the plugs for his alternator field and #1 injector only added to it. :emotions33: :Big Laugh:
