When ever I hit the gas I here a ticking sound, sounds like it's coming from the manifold on the passenger side. Anybody ever had any issues with this and what did you do to fix it?

It's a common problem. Look at your exhaust manifold bolts, I would put money on them being broken.

If theyre fine look for small rust holes on your exhaust. I have one right now waiting to be fixed.

What kind of headers do you recommend?

If you don't want to replace your Y-pipe, i'd suggest ceramic coated BBK shorties. Or JBA's but they're a little more expensive.

i had the same issue.. possiblity you have a snapped manifold bolt or your leaking right out of the gasket. felpro makes nice gaskets.. i had the same problem on my truck.. granted i installed pacesetter long tube headers and went through 3 differant types of gaskets before the shop found one that worked. good luck.

If the ticking goes away after its warmed up its definitely the manifold. I had 4 bolts snap on me but was covered under the RRT
