Form a Funnel?

I saw an ad for these things on FB the other day. They are readily available on eBay and Amazon in various sizes.


I am wondering if they might be a solution for a cleaner oil change on the 5.7. I think they might be worth a shot on the oil change routine on my mower anyway.

Anyone with any experience with these?

I bought one and it works great. The only oil that drips now is when I remove the funnel and the oil residue on it drips a couple of times.

Not sure if this would work in 4th gens, but....



45° adapter, has that little scoop that funnels the oil past my steering rack into the drip pan. I know the way the eagles are setup in the 4th gen chassis and accessories are very different, but might be worth a look.

U could shape some tinfoil, has a similar effect

I know this is an old thread, but I have 3 Form-a-Funnels. I originally bought 1 for changing oil on my old riding mower. I now bought 2 more when changing oil on the Ram. I form them over the steering rack, and they work great. Quick cleanup with a paper (shop) towel.
