How do you update the GPS in 2015 Ram or do you have to subscribe to UCONNECT to do it?

This is to update the firmware for the GPS it's. That has to be up to date if you want to update the maps but don't waste your money they're still several years old and the mapping is less than desirable. To update the maps you have to buy them through: https://chryslergroup.navigation.com/home/en_US/ChryslerNA/USD
You better off to use the mapping in your phone via Google Maps or similar. To get those on your radio consider upgrading to a UAS or UAQ from a '18 or newer truck.
