Hello everyone!
New guy here from NJ! Migrated over from ramforumz since it seems pretty dead over there.
This is my 2001 ram 1500. 150K miles, 5.9 gas, 46RE 2WD. Fairly clean for the age.
Truck is used as a tow rig for my Thunderbird drift car.
So far since I've taken ownership, I've replaced the driver seat bottom, the headliner, muffler, ball joints, idler arm, alternator, transmission cooler, clock spring, dash bezel, fuel pump, overhead console wiring harness, and tires.
I've added LED lights, tow hitch, 7 pin connector and brake controller, Gabriel load bearing shocks (I shoulda went air bags but oh well) an external Voltage regulator (PCM failure), tow mirrors, an air horn, and auxiliary power/buttons for potential future installs.
List of future plans include repainting as the stock paint is flaking, an interior refresh, and a transmission replacement as its been whining like a Weiand since I've bought it. Still shifts fine for now, but money is set aside for when it doesn't.
See y'all around!
