Like I said, mine had the chipped valve stem and other wear. I ordered new pushrods and valve springs just because of my mileage
I replaced the valves and rockers because of the wear on the end of the arm that contacts the valve spring.
I suppose you could measure the pushrod lengths and see how worn down they are, and also check that the oil hole on them is not peened smaller.
I think the rocker arms ran about $150 each at RockAuto, all the valves was another $600 I think. Plus I hand lapped them as well.
I really hated to drop the coin I did, and I may have replaced some stuff I didnt have to, but I didn't want to have to go back in again.
