Help with Bluetooth on rer 730n

Bluetooth not working

So I have had no problems up until I did the ios6 update on my iPhone. Now my Bluetooth wont pick up my truck or the truck won't pick up the phone. Either way am I missing something?

you are now running new software, the unconnect does not recognize it now. I'm thinking they will have to issue a software update for the uconnect

I'm having issues trying to connect my phone to the unit via Bluetooth. I know it can't be hard but can someone walk me through it? My phone doesn't seem to wanna find the HU for some reason..

Do you need the mic for this?

I sure am. Bluetooth is built into the actual HU or is there a seperate box that plugs into it that's for Bluetooth and uconnect?

Damn that sucks. So do I call the dealer about it or just wait.

i won't hurt to give them a call. I would think the more calls they get about it the faster it might get fixed

I got mine connected last night finally, I guess I wasn't doing something right but it hooked up with no problems. Now I just need the mic to come in the mail

Well this unit is new to me, I've never had navigation before. When I went to pair the phones, on the screen that says pair I never hit pair so it would find my phone... Operator error

ahhh ok, maybe 2serious needs to delete the pairing he has with his phone and start from scratch

Got it I deleted old one and made a new one kept saying go on website to see devices that are compatable or something. Thanks guys.

730N RER - I placed a 730N RER in my gen 3 using the lockpick adapter and learned a few things when my HTC EVO4G would connect fine, but had no sound. It is amost always a software update issue when it comes to connecting and using a newer phone. I pushed a new software update and all is well. You must be careful when pushing the update to make sure power is not interupted. Follow this link for all things related Uconnect,

It is the unofficial Becker site for all the mygigs with the exception of the RBZ Garmin which is a Mitsubishi electronics productt (AKA 430N RBZ).

When you burn the update: Burn it at the slowest speed possible and finalize the CD so the radio will recognize the software.

Even if it shows the same software version, run the update anyway as this will usually fix any connectivity issues, after the update all previous paired phones will be erased so re-pair your phones.

Try it first without allowing MyGig to download your phone book and if it works, re-pair again and let it suck in your phone book.

It is not hard to do, but follow the directions carefully, if you screw it up, only the dealer can reset the radio.

P.S. The Lockpick adapter works great adapting a gen 3 and allows you to use either a low speed or high speed canbus radio by changing dip switch settings.
