Does the modules under drive seat handle memory functions
Or is memory strictly from bcm programming

The memory module is under the drivers seat along with the comfort seat and wheel module.

I can use autogen scanner and enable memory as well

We don't know for sure yet. It worked for cptwing but he had all the wiring from the factory. Rick was going to enable the code in his truck and see what happens. If I get a chance tonight I'll try to enable the code also and see if it works.

As for the seats, if you replicate the factory wiring and enable the codes the heated seats, vented seats (if you have them) and heated wheel will work. Are you getting the factory wiring harnesses from the trucks?

And yes I'm going pull wiring from plugs as far back as I can go hopefully to their terminations

On my tradesman will the heat seat wheel switch block be wired to go or will I need to add wiring for that portion since I have exhaust brake etc on top row

You will just need to replace the switch panel. The wiring will be there.

Got my heated seats all wired up and working! Thanks to all and a special shout out to Deere and Rick. I went right to the pcm with the wiring. I have the heated wheel wiring installed, I just need to install the clock spring and wheel. A while back I had the dealer turn on the code for the dealer added heated seats. I had the icons on my screen, but they didn't function. Now the hard and soft keys work for the heat. Hope to get the wheel and clock spring installed in the next week or so. I'll report back on that. My truck is a 2015 2500 tradesman. I pulled back the carpet and zip tied or taped the wires to the existing harness.

Congradulstions Dodgetk81 looks great glad you got them all done! That's another one in the books..........Thanks for the info Doc. I didn't get a chance to enable the seat memory today. I got sidetracked with the family. I am going to try and give it a shot tomorrow. I'm not exactly expecting it to work but it will give me a place to start from. I know cptwing got his to work but I can't see his wiring very well in the picture.

That's great news. Basically you have the same set up as MaizenBlue. You both have the Mopar accessory seat heater code installed and both of your heated steering wheels work.

I wonder what triggers that code being available on a VIN. I had the dealer check and that wasn't an option on my 2016 tradesman but it was available on DodgeTk81s 2015 tradesman and on MaizenBlues 2016 express.

I was looking at a post on another forum about DRLs. This one guy posted a screenshot of the codes that were available for his truck, and it had the LER power fold code. I know a lot of people have jumped through major hoops for that one and his was just there. It was a 2500 SLT, I believe.

Well I looked all over with my AE tool and I cannot find the memory seat code. I was able to find the memory pedals in ECU Memory #5. I may have missed it but I looked through Pretty much all of the screens. I also try ed to see if it worked without codes just in case with no success. Cptwing next time your using the tool maybe you can see if you can find it again and let us know where you found it so we can compare.

Did you have any problems getting the i311 connector off to add the heated wheel pins?

Funny thing is, there is no oem add on kit, but the code is there
