Will be receiving deereguys harnesses today and beginning the install on my truck. Installing limited seats and plan to enable memory/heat/cool and rear heat as well. Fingers crossed it goes smoothly lol. Will try and capture some good install steps with pics and possible video and post here later.

Thanks Ricks Ram. I have a Quad Cab as well. My rears are not heated but my thought was to purchase the OEM parts (seat heater pads, switches) and then run the necessary wiring. Was hoping someone had figured out the wiring and pins/plugs needed.
If you were to install the Crew Cab seat heaters in the Quad Cab seats and then get the center console with the switches and harness out of a wrecked laramie or even the switch panel end piece and wiring it wouldn't be much different than doing the Crew Cab trucks. Remember there was no rear heated seat option on the Jump Seat so if you wanted it O.E you would need the center console. I actually thought about doing it but I have the Jump Seat and actually prefer it. If you have the Jump Seat and weren't worried about being O.E. I'm sure it wouldn't be to hard to find a place to mount the rear heated seat switches.

I have the full center console already. Switches would be easy enough to mount and are about $18 each. The rear seat heat pads for the Crew Cab is exactly what I was thinking about putting in my Quad Cab seat, I have Katzkins ready to install so want to do this all at once if I can. What I need is some help with the harness. Was hoping one of you smart guys had already figured it out and could sell me a harness. I think DeereGuy had built a rear seat harness for someone a couple years ago. @DeereGuy Do you have the harness circuits to add rear heated seats to a non-rear heated seat truck? I have the right front seat module with the rear heated seat option.

Your best bet would be to find a center console end piece with the switches and wiring intact or possibly buy a new harness. DeerGuy adds the rear heated seat wiring to the conversion harness from the PDC if you order it that way but as far as I know he hasn't made the actual harness for the switches themselves in yhe center console. I'm not sure if the harness for the rear heated seat center console is available from Mopar but the first thing I would do is message Benny at Allmoparparts.com in the vendor section of the forum and see if it's available.

I found a center console harness on ebay along with a switch panel and switches for the center console, ordered and on the way. Hit up Allmoparparts for the seat heater pads. Now I only need the additional wiring.

I agree 100%. I have installed several of Deereguy's harnesses as well as other M2Mods harnesses and they are top notch all the way.

Finally able to grab a couple decent pics after all upgrades. I have done premium cluster, 8.4 UAQ, laramie limited door panels and limited seats. All pretty large challenges going from a 2015 tradesman. Could NOT have done it without the help of great members on this board!! Thank you to all! 9294645a99095039fe25b0cb36817d65.jpgca0f2dbb03704973ecad09c627a83f40.jpg968e8d0b0b645d58b7427c1e6e6320f9.jpga821988936a471418040719df2f905b9.jpg3f091a9bb777522094a901ebe17e4ef6.jpg5102584ea3cef2433734a0d915a2fc39.jpg

Hello everyone I recently got a 2019 ram classic SLT and would love to put a heated steering wheel in it I found this thread and started reading but there is quite a lot of information here. One big reason I haven't started purchasing yet is there seems to be a difference in the 2018+ trucks on some vendors sites but others show them as the same. Also I saw that I would need the controller under the seat but any thoughts on doing just the wheel?

If your truck is a classic the wiring should be the same as the 13 to 18 trucks. You will need to make sure your truck has the correct wiring for the heated seats and wheel. Some have it and some don't. If it doesn't you will need to add it. If it does you will need to have the heated seat module and seat harness to possibly make it work. I don't reccomend trying to do it that way. I would buy a heated seat that will have the module and correct seat wiring. You will obviously also need to install the correct steering wheel and heated wheel clockspring and enable the codes with the Alfa tool. This is a pic of the correct wiring your truck will need to connect to the drivers side heated seat.6940cd4531597e6e83f25d97f67f05b8.jpg

I have all the parts I need to install the rear heated seats in my Quad Cab. I only need to run the wires from the i401 plug to the seat plugs i460a and i470a. I'm searching for the pins needed for the i401 plug under the drivers seat. They are part number Yazaki 7116-4721-02. The only place I can find them requires a minimum 100 qty for an order, a bit overkill for what I need. Looking for anyone that has some of these pins (7116-4721-02 or 7116-4721-08) to purchase a dozen of them from.

Thanks,
Sawz

I recently put heated cloth seats, heated wheel with clock spring. And the drivers seat and wheel turn on when it’s below 40. I turned on the heated seat and wheel setting in bcm with Alfaobd. The issue is the controls are locked or not working. They show up but I can’t make them go on and off. Any ideas?8BDC38DC-951C-42F6-8A8F-03A233FC2493.jpeg

What year is your truck and is it a 1500 or 2500 and did it come with the radio you have in it? You can turn the auto on comfort on or off in your settings menu on the radio. If you don't have the option in your settings menu you will need to enable it with the Alfa tool for it to appear in the radio settings menu.

I'm sure it came with the module to let the radio connect with the truck's BCM that goes between the radio harness and radio correct?

The truck had the 8.4 uconnect factory. so the uconnect with apple car play was a direct plug and play, do I need to add that harness to get those options to work? Or do I need to turn on more options with the alfaobd?

No, the UAQ and UAS radios will not communicate with the BCM on the 13 and 14 1500 and 2500 trucks and some of the 15 2500's for certain features. I know it's needed on the trucks that have been upgraded from the smaller radios and I'm pretty sure even a 13 or 14 truck that came with the RA3 or RA4 radio would need the module if you installed the UAQ or UAS radio. It is a module that connects between the radio and the trucks radio harness. Usually the seat controls are one of the options that won't work correctly without the module. These are pictures of the Infotainment unit which is the larger one and the Customtronix Enigma unit that does the same thing plus corrects some of the other issues the radios have communicating with the trucks. I prefer the Custimtronix Enigma unit but either will work. 451991bf439b0494bbce786a7a968cea.jpge5ec3471ae9a3ee89ba0a3465e3edae3.jpg
