Why is your hvac configuration set at:
Dual Zone ATC + Rear?

That isn't correct. Should be just:
Dual Zone ATC

Make the change and make sure to pull the radio fuse afterwards and wait for the radio to finish it's reset. (After the SxM button returns)

Has anyone added front and/or side cameras with the UAQ 4C radio using the interface from CameraSource or Echomaster (both look like the same interface). It says it's compatible with 4th Gen Rams with 5" or 8.4" radios. It essentially is like the lockpick it seems (RCA connections for up to 4 cameras, nav over-ride, etc). I just couldn't tell if that compatibility is only for the RAx radios, or if the UAx radios were compatible as well.

I've read along and think I'm in order but want to confirm. I have a 2015 Ram with the 8.4 RA4 nav and I want to go to the UAQ. I need the UAQ unit, media hub (chrysler 200) and the adapter harness? Just want to make sure that's all I'm going to need. Also any good resources for the radio itself?

Does your truck already have factory dual zone atc?

1500 or 2500?

I was just testing if the config with + rear changed anything and it did not. This was after I went through changing it over the steps you posted. I went through it twice. I actually also tried single zone atc and it is the same issue. I also am pulling the fuse and waiting for it to reset. I have been leaving it off going inside for about an hour each time after I change the config pull the fuse 2 mins and reinstall the fuse. Does that change anything?

yes factory dual zone atc its a 1500 longhorn laramie
Then you are correct and that "Should" be all that you need ... keeping in mind that some of the earlier 13-14 trucks seem to be more temperamental with certain upgrades depending on the options/config.

Thanks, mine does have the older style center console but is a 15 so we'll see. Is the kaodtech link for your conversion harness?

Is ebay (with the code) just as good as any place to buy the radio?

KAOdTECh is Deereguy's site for his projects, so that's good for the hub adapter harness.

Ebay can be okay depending on who you get it from and if they show you actual pictures of the front, back, sides of the actual radio to verify it's PN and condition. The best scenario is to find it at a local salvage yard, LKQ, Schram Auto, CAR-PART, or similar from a known 18/19+ Classic 4th Gen DS truck (vs 19+ 5th Gen DT or DJ truck), then ebay.

** Cautionary warning about where you buy a 2018 ram UAQ or UAS Radio from see post 2420. ** & few posts after.

Thanks for all the help! One last question. The seller said they can't guarantee the exact part number but they can guarantee a 2018 starting with 683 and it to be a UAQ radio. Am I safe with this? From what I read I am but wanted to make sure.

I see you have 68461703AB listed as a 2020 non nav radio. I don't know if you remember but my radio is supposed to be from a 2020 and is a nav radio, the part number on mine is 68461699AB. At the time I did the install nobody could find any information on my part number.

I would suggest sticking to a ram specfic part number for everything to safely work right and correct Application updates.you can change mounts and other vehicle radios will work but they can be buggy.i am currently running a 2021 wrangler jl uaq In my 20 classic.everything works even the vehicle user app.however it still has a tire pressure adjustment app on it that doesn't work.and has a new high number Application.i tried loading a 34.2 Application (newer jeep ones would let you go back)this one wouldn't. So you are stuck with problems like that.

Here's how I solved the media hub fit. Hand formed piece of plastic from an old cassette tape carrying case. The fit could be a bit better but for a first attempt I'm happy with the results! I simply glued the entire package from the backside with GOOP.

I found that Amazon sells a 12" x 12" x1/16" black ASR plastic sheet which is cheap and works perfect for this cutout.

Not quite sure where to ask, i ordered my uaq radio off ebay and i was wondering where i could get the mediahub and harness. i have a 2017 bighorn with ATC if that matters.

Edit: i think i found the right stuff by reading back a few posts, ordered the chrysler 200 media hub and the conversion harness from a few pages back

See Post 5 for PNs/info for your USB Hub options.

You can buy the hub on your own from a Mopar Parts dealer online or preferred Forum vendor AllMoparParts.com (Benny). If you message them, he may have a forum discount code for ya to use as well.

For the hub adapter harness, Deereguy setup his KAOdTECh website for his projects to make it easier for him to keep up....

The harness connects under the driver's seat in the front right corner (as you are sitting in it). Disconnect there and see if the reboots occur while driving.

On mine, the reboot only occured just as I flipped the seat-back up.

Late update but I disconnected the harness under the DS on the right side and once I noticed it didn't make a difference with the lines in both the cargo & front camera I plugged it back in. I haven't had it reboot on me again but still have terrible "interference" lines on both camera screens[emoji2359] I'm lost on where to even look considering all of the wiring looks good to me behind the radio, under seats and in console.

So, re-seating fixed the reboots?
