How To: Install a 2018 4C (UAQ/UAS) Radio in 2013 - 2017 RAM

Does anyone know the part number for the two Canadian radios? I can get my hands on a P/N 68340153AI for a decent price, just not sure if it will work.
Also I have a 2017 2500 w/ the 8.4 and Auto-Dual Climate, so it should be plug and play, correct? Just need to switch the media hub?

I believe 2018 UAx Canadian ram radios should start with 6833xxxx. If that 6834xxxx says 'DT' anywhere on it then it's a 5th gen Delphi radio and a no go.

PS: if it's the one on eBay from Syryn then it has 2 of the colored antenna locking clips missing (FM and SXM). But it might work.

No, it's supposedly out of a 2018 Ram and there's no DT markings on it from what I see in the pictures. But I did send a PM to Allmoparparts to double check for me.

It does come back to a 2018 model year Ram. Maybe it’s a late model year radio.

According to Ivgsoft it is a Panasonic UCS and they do have the unlock code.

Sharing this here thanks to @Dodgetk81 (added to Post 8 of my 8.4 FW info thread) ....

UAx Reset Methods:
1) Pull the battery or remove the inline fuse near the brake booster.

2) - Needs Verified - Press/Hold the on screen 'Phone' button and 'upper right corner' together for 15 secs.

Known Issues

Radio Soft Keys for the Heated/Vented Seats and Heated Wheel will not work on 2013 and 2014 trucks (They will be on the screen but will be grayed out).

Radio Soft Keys for the Heated/Vented Seats will be missing on trucks that added factory heated/vented seats.

Settings menu may not reflect correct setting options on 2013 trucks.

Backup Camera button may be missing on 2016 and 2017 trucks. (Camera will work when in reverse, button on radio is missing).

There is no way to factory reset a radio.

The video from Mpgrimm2 made the install of the 2018 jumpseat tray and hub easy. Thanks to M2mods for making the hub cable available. I would not have done the radio upgrade without the assistance of this thread.

Yes. Artwork which shows up on my phone also appears on the screen when browsing music through CarPlay.

Started having trouble with the Jeep Compass USB hub hooked up to my UAQ radio in my 2016 RAM 2500. The last couple of days it has not recognized my iPhone. I tried a different Lightening cable with no luck. The only way I can get it working is to unplug the USB connector from the back of the hub and plug it back in. After that it works all day just fine.

My hub is not lit up blue like the old hub. Is it supposed to be? Even after the USB unplug / plug it does not light up.

Anyone else seen this issue before?

The adapter cable does not have power to light up the hubs.
