Yeah that’s a sucky paint job. Aside from the dirt in the paint it might be able to be buffed out, idk. I spent a lot of hours buffing my bed after it was painted, but I expected it with the low price I payed to have it sprayed. In your case that’s on them

That’s hideous. It is true that there is some orange peel on pretty much every factory paint job now a days, but nowhere near as bad as in those pics. Not to mention the other issues. I didn’t even know what I was looking at for a second. Did they outsource this one to Maaco for their cheap n quick special.
If your truck still isn’t up to your satisfaction then I would put that company on blast, all over the web. Nowadays bad reviews can bankrupt a company. ****, I’d do it anyway because of all the lazy issues that didn’t need to happen.

Unbelievable, I wouldn't show up without a representative from your insurance company. Leave it and don't sign your name to anything. I would also be asking the ins company to replace the truck. No way the body shop repaired or cleaned the truck properly.
Trash in the paint is a free optional extra when one buys a RAM.So the last image on this thread, is just a small white dot. There were about 67 or so that we counted. It's just trash in the paint, or bubbles in the clear, not sure which.

Sorry to read about all of this. Progressive is usually a decent company, its not like they are low dollar rates, with 6 month policies, they are usually up their if competitive. I know you have gotten a lot of advice, but a simple tool insurance adjusters use is called the principle of indemnification. Look up the definition if youd like, but it means in the event of a loss they are to leave you as you were before the loss, no more no less. Which goes both ways. If they can fix it for less than the value of the vehicle, they arent going to total it. If they do total it, they will assign the depreciated value, to which you can somewhat discuss and haggle, but that is what it will be unless upon binding, you signed an agreed value to the vehicle which would give you the full amount if it was deemed totaled. This is usually for high end cars, or antiques. The other way this goes, is the no less part. Your vehicle did not have paint peeling, and issues all around BEFORE the loss, which also means you should be made whole, not just partly satisfied, even if the loss was 'your' fault. But that is what comprehensive insurance is for. As I am sure you have done, keep talking to your adjuster, keep documenting, and fight for righting this. I do not think you will be able to argue getting it totaled now as repairs and such have been done or started, but at the very least you can make it right. Its all case by case, so I cannot give you a definitive answer on how this will turn out, but you are entitled to your right to fight for this. I would not deal with the dealer yourself anymore if it were me, you arent the one paying them, the insurance company is. So what you say to them and what they say to you is obsolete. It is the communication between them two that is key. I hope you get this all sorted out and hope I helped a little!
