I have a question regarding the climate control settings. I have a factory remote start which will automatically put the defrost on high speed no problem. I’ve noticed though that if I put my heat on say 80 degrees once I shut my truck off then get back into it and turn it on that the climate settings return to 72 degrees it won’t keep the same setting I just had it at. Is that the norm on these trucks or is there a way to keep settings. Doesn’t matter if I remote start it or not it always goes back to 72 degrees every time.

Granted I did the single zone ATC mod but mine will stay at the temperature I set it at. Even stays at the mode of it's something other than Auto.

It should stay on whatever temp setting you left it at when you shut the truck off. You may have an issue with your heater control module not holding your last temp setting.

I've had a 2015 and now have a 2018 with dual zone climate control and both would remember the temperature setting.
