Well I had to order my fogs and a high diode for my truck so I figured I'd throw these in too, the package was coming anyway. The video doesn't do the change in quality justice they are sweet! Huge thanks to Jeremy as always.:banana-mario:th_blinkers.jpg
No hyper flash issues/light out notification with the resistors in. The video is short and not to great but a storm was blowing in.

Wow... I mean, I love switchbacks n all, but that's rubbish for a blinker.
That's be super easy to over-look, especially during a bright sunny day.

Hey man.. got a link???

to the OP, how do they look from the side? they look like they are just a beam out and dont really fill the cavity with light.

These shoot light directly out, nothing to "fill" the bowl there - which is great for most of my customers who paint the turn bowl anyway. ;)

Those seem awfully dangerous. Can you see them from the side? If not, isn't that illegal?

JJ's switchbacks.

Pretty dam bright. Just look at the distance the truck is away from the garage and the reflection on the garage door. That's just the halo's and switchbacks.

Guys, I am about to get my swichbacks. Do I need a load resistor from Signal to ground and from the running light to ground as well? thaats 2 resistors per bulb? or just one?

I am also going to get the 80w cree tail bulbs too.

Just one per bulb. If there from JJ he sends the resistors with them. The resistors will tap into both wires.

I was probably not going to order from him because I don't like the fact that they don't shine sideways. So they tap into BOS the blinker wire and the running light wire plus the ground?

Oh ok. I wasn't really worried about that too much with the mirror signals and you can still see it a bit from the side. At night for sure. If you're just putting them in stock housings they should reflect off the bowl and be visible. Anyway the resistors should have to wires on it. One splices into the signal wire the other into your parking lights. I used t-taps to splice. It should be the 2 outside wires going to the signal bulb. Also the resistors need to somewhere they won't touch plastic cause they get pretty hot.

Ok. For some reason I thought resistors went from tthe hot to ground. I worry about having the light visible from the side. The more visibility the better IMO.

Gotcha.. yea the diodes are what have me confused and the system reading the bulbs. I know I need on blinkers for fast blink but unsure about the running light circuits too.
