Don't disagree. Just depends what you want to get out of your system. For that space custom fibreglass and a pair of high end 10s are probably the best you can get for all around sound due to airspace restrictions. 12's require more space to perform well except for certain subs tailored for smaller airspace, but those aren't the top line typically. I have the JL box in my truck and it's all I need.

I vote for the foxbox. I have one with an RE Audio SCX10 and it sounds damn good. I listen mostly to rock and metal and the kick drums thump good and solid. Not sloppy at all with my sub. Make sure if you go this route, make sure the airspace is compatible with the enclosure. The enclosure airspace is .95 cuft.

So does anyone have a hookup on who can make some spacers out of aluminum or steel to duplicate the fox box MDF ones. I’ll just feel better if it was made out of aluminum or steel?

With a grinder and cut off disc, drill with 1/2" drill bit and a little patience you can make your own. Just order 2" flat bar in the thickness you want. If you have the wood ones they make a good template for where to drill and recess. If you get them cut to length where you get the material then all you need is a drill and drill bit and you could file the sharp edges.

Local steel supplier or machine shop. If none available look for welders in the area as they'd know where to get the stuff.

Yes finally finished! Sounds amazing....still gotta fine tune some amp setting but it is rocking!

Yes, still use able. In my case once I make a few adjustments even my fold out floor will work.
