Lug nuts

Where can I get good ones. I hate the OEM "chrome" cap lug nuts. I need new ones. I have issues with my front ones and want to get chrome plated ones. No autopart stores have them. They keep saying dealer item which it's BS. It's a lug nut. They really don't carry anything past 12mm anyway. The 4th gens use 14mm-1.5 lug nuts.

So my question where is a good place to get chrome lugnuts that don't have the stupid caps?

Matt, any place you can get wheels at can get aftermarket lug nuts. Ebay, online tire places

Online is my only bet right now.

Then what's a good online place to look. I don't want to pay a fortune and not super cheap either. It's lug nuts how expensive can they be?

If you know the specs you can order them online. I knew them at one point because Discount Tire ordered me some black lugs that I didn't end up keeping...but now I'm not positive what they were so I don't want to give you bad info.

Finally found them. Took 3 Autozones bur now I have a set and can now rotate my tires.

well I was wrong thanks to Butch telling me before I found out the hard way. 4th Gens have 9/16"-18 thread. Now finding online a place to order the lugs. I should have known I have the Wheel lock kit that came with the truck in the glovebox.

A lug should always spin on freely several threads by hand, then use toque wrench to finish...

the idiot at pepboys checked it. I brought one of my OEMs in there to size it. Well I guess he sized it wrong.

I ordered some last night hopefully the don't take long to get here. Its not easy to get lug nuts for this damn truck.

I guess you've probably tried "local" tire shops? We have a couple around my area the have seemingly infinite amounts of lug nuts.

screw them. Ill return what I got and i got them online. They look up a 4th gen in their computer and nothing is listed. they say dealer item
