Off-road bumper

Ive got an express and am looking to put on an off-road bumper. I like the prerunner type bumper. For example the Body Armor desert series bumper. I was wondering if anyone is running this with the one piece bumper or if anyone has any suggestions on another bumper that isn't outrageously priced. Any suggestions would be nice!

The Go rhino and Fabfour rear bumpers are nice as they stay tight to the body, have built in steps and good lines imo. The go Rhino front is decent as well. I personally like as much protection with as little “Bulkiness” as possible. In other words if I hit something... be it animal or Prius... another truck...I want to know that my family and I are going to walk away. Some of the new Ranch hand stuff is supposed to look pretty good, haven’t seen it yet though. The iron bull stuff seems pretty decent.

I would have gone Fab Four or others, but I just detest logos. I did a LOT of homework in finding my bumpers and had specific requirements (winch, low profile, Line-X or equivalent, square lights, matching front and rear, and optional logo delete). Downside....$$.

Some of the new Ranch hand stuff is supposed to look pretty good, haven’t seen it yet though.

New ranch hand stuff? I've been really happy with mine, but haven't seen anything about new stuff.

You could get a kit bumper and build it yourself. I saw a kit on powernation.com I’m considering the kit myself.

I'll be doing those Body Armor Dessert series when the time for Bumpers come, i like their price, and the DG-19340 has an optional winch plate, another reason why i'm going with BA bumpers.

How do you plan on doing the bumper situation? It says it only fits the two piece front bumpers. Will you leave the gap between the grill and the bumper, cut the express bumper, or buy a two piece bumper?

Now i know what you were referring to as i was looking to go ahead and buy the Body Armor bumper this weekend , Sport and Express don't have the two piece valance/bumpers, i'll have to do more research and see what else is available as pre-runner style bumpers, i loved the price on this BA bumper, damn it.

Am I looking in the wrong place? I see a price tag of $1300 for the body armor "eco" series. That's not so "eco"nomic to me

I'm not saying it's as "heavy duty" as the other mentioned here. But it looks like a very solid option for the money. And definitely closer to what I would call an "eco"nomic choice
