I was going to build a desert chaser truck out of a Ford ranger and 4bt engine if I had the chance but that 4bt is overdone now so I 86 that idea.

Good looking Lab. Trucks looking good too.
I ran all my wiring from my relocated battery and the fuel lines from my fuel cell inside the frame rails Ian,took a bit of swearing with the box in place, but it all fit inside the frame.I'd run 2 heavy 00 welding cables to the rear inside the frame to a terminal block, then you have something to tie into that should run a winch and any lights you have at the rear.Spending the evening unfucking that wire harness and re-routing it down the center . will use the old tire carrier as a chase for all my wires to the rear. This will make it easier for the winch wires. and sould ensure nothing gets caught off while on the trails.
Will have temps brake lights tommorow for the ride to the car wash... lol... Just need to watch out for 5-0
Also thinking of chopping off 1 ft off the rear frame will see how far back I can mount my hitch without to much modification.

I was thinking more along the lines of what Finnigan built on RoadKill, the old 3 ton that they shortened up and stuffed a blown big block behind the cab and now it pulls spectacular wheelies, lolNext update is going to be a frame chop/bob like @22hemi13
Could go this route with the rear hitch since it’ll be mostly custom anyways. This is the rear hitch I plan on buying and installing in my truck.Spending the evening unfucking that wire harness and re-routing it down the center . will use the old tire carrier as a chase for all my wires to the rear. This will make it easier for the winch wires. and sould ensure nothing gets caught off while on the trails.

It would if you bought it in bare metal and then just let it rust naturally But it also costs about a third of what you're planning to spend totalVerry nice, But it wouldn't match the theme of " ****box " im going for
Looking pretty stellar. Is it still going to be a daily driver ? Gotta be careful with them grinders, lol.Got the final mesurmens for my bed this morning, and checked the height at full drop.
While cutting I accidently dropped my grinder and it cut off a foot of the back
So now spending today reinstalling the hitch mount inside the frame.
