Yeah big oof it’s the first issues I’ve had out it with 210k miles on it
Bummer
It’s the 5.7
If a sealant can stop a leak what else can it stop ? Best move is to fix it correctly.
It is 2wd but is the gasket easy to remove I’ve been told on the older ones you had to take off the oil sump or somethingI dropped the pan on my 2011 5.7 same mileage. Its not to bad But ya gotta un bolt the front axle from the mount and jack the truck up to make space for pan to come out.
Unless yours is 2wd that would make it a lot easier.

Maybe I'm not interpreting the pics correctly, but that doesn't look like a pan leak to me. It may be coming from above, like a valve cover gasket leak, etc.
With those miles could be a rear crankshaft seal too.Maybe I'm not interpreting the pics correctly, but that doesn't look like a pan leak to me. It may be coming from above, like a valve cover gasket leak, etc.
